Neil Wheeler was so welcoming and friendly on my initial gym tour that I booked a PT session with him. I was recovering after a total knee replacement and was very unsure whether a gym was right for me. In our first session Neil was so supportive and encouraging, checking what exercises I had been doing with the hospital physio and adapting the way I used the gym equipment to try and match that. As he hadn't had a client with a knee replacement before, Neil filmed me doing some of the exercises to show my physio to make sure it was the right thing. This gave me great confidence that Neil was giving me a good exercise plan, tailored to my needs and abilities but also in-line with my post op rehabilitation. Over the weeks Neil has been a great motivator, giving me feedback on my progress and raising my confidence that I'm improving. I can't thank him enough and would definitely recommend Neil as a PT.

My journey into fitness began when I decided in June 2021 to quit smoking after being a lifetime smoker on and off since in was 16. To occupy my time when I would smoke I decided I would join a gym to help my heart and lungs repair themselves with my help. To get fit, lose some fat, get into shape and live longer! So I visited two or three gyms in Swindon and only one of those were friendly enough for me to even consider returning-that was PureGym Swindon, Mannington. So I joined up and have never looked back, I meet new people, help as many as I can, just LOVE my fitness journey, thoroughly enjoy all the classes I attend and moreover love the changes in my health. Neil is my PT and a great instructor and pushes me to excel. Just loving it! Here I come for beating all my PB's.

We chose Neil because we wanted someone that would push us and motivate us in to losing weight, we saw his weight loss journey and thought he'd be the perfect PT for us. He is a well-rounded Personal Trainer and his PT sessions are highly motivating and he is always encouraging you to push yourself, he has provided us with tips on nutrition as well as daily challenges to complete when not at the gym. We would recommend him to anyone who is looking to lose weight!

Before using Neil as my PT I used to do the same routine in the gym which involved a couple of machines that I felt confident to use. Neil has given me the knowledge and confidence to use weights and more of the gym equipment. I think over the past year I have probably used all of the machines at some point. He has helped me to use weights in different ways to help me achieve my goals. I would now feel happy to attend the gym and use most of the equipment independently. Thank you Neil.
